WhatsApp has simple built-in formatting. Put symbols around your text and it’s styled when you send it.

You can also select text while typing and choose Format from the menu on most phones.
When fancy fonts help
Built-in formatting doesn’t work in your WhatsApp name, About text, or group names, and it disappears if someone copies your message elsewhere. Unicode styles like cursive or small caps work in all of those.
