How to Use Bold, Italic and Strikethrough on Facebook

Regular Facebook posts and comments have no formatting options. (Some group posts on desktop offer a formatting toolbar, but most places don’t.) Unicode styles work everywhere on Facebook.
Steps
- Type your text into the bold, italic or strikethrough generator.
- Press Copy next to the style you want.
- Paste it into your Facebook post, comment, bio or Messenger chat.
Ideas
Old price→ new price, using strikethrough.- A bold first line so your post stands out in the feed.
- Italics for quotes or titles.
Messenger
Messenger shows Unicode styles too. On desktop it also understands *bold*, _italic_ and ~strikethrough~ written with symbols.
